ABOUT THE WORK

The sculpture in constructed from two inverse dripstones, which are almost touching. This interactive installation receives it’s final appearance with the intervention of the viewer. The dripstones are constructed from a triangular module on the surface on which a constantly moving image is projected while transmitting a vibration that is created from the internal sound.

When the screening is operated by the spectator, the view projected on the dripstones gradually turns into a storm that connect heaven and earth; if the viewer pauses a little in front of the work he will realize that soon the order is being restored.

This is a metaphor for the way in which acceptance and introspection offer us the path to attain order and serenity within the chaos. Inside the structure are transmitted psych-active waves. When the work is operated, an original musical piece is played, ranging from chaos to tranquility.

When video art and paper design meet.
It was very casual when Harel asked me if we could take that paper mask that was hanging on our studio wall and enlarge it to be 2m' high. in his vision it would be a great addon to an event he was vjing in. challange was accepted, the mask was a success and today, a year later we are designing interactive sculptures.
